Forty round blue sapphires, 10 carats in total, form the line of this tennis bracelet. After every eighth sapphire sits a round natural diamond, five in all and 1 carat together, so flashes of white mark the band at even intervals.
Each stone is held in prongs, and the links flex independently for a smooth drape. Choose 14k or 18k white or yellow gold, or platinum: yellow gold gives the blue a warmer, vintage feel, and white gold or platinum a crisp, cool one. Sapphire is rated 9 on the Mohs scale.
